As you may have noticed if you struggled your way through the ‘About Us’ page – we’re kind of interested in the environment.  It’s an interest we have had for a while, and in summer 2009, it expanded to include permaculture.

There is more on just what that is under the introduction page, but what is worth noting here is that part of our trip involves working as volunteers on various permaculture projects.  We’re doing this in conjunction with a diploma in Permaculture Design from the Universite Populaire de Permaculture in France, and with the larger goal of learning as much as we can about permaculture design, agriculture, and the environment during our travels.

We’ll be using this portion of the site to give more information on the projects we work with (Designs); both the nature of their work, how others can get in touch to offer help, and aspects of their designs and projects which might interest others.
